How it works

From topic to graded class in three steps

1. Get your questions

Type a topic, turn your own PDF, Word file, slides or a YouTube video into a quiz, import questions from Word or Excel, or write them yourself. Ten question types, from multiple choice to essays.

2. Set the rules

Draw a random set for each student, shuffle the order, add a timer for the whole test or each question, open and close it at set times and ask for an access code in the exam room.

3. Share and see results

Send one link or assign it to a class. Students answer on any phone or computer, scores appear the moment they finish, and the gradebook and question analysis fill themselves.

Questions teachers ask

Is Examopotamia free for teachers?

Yes. The Starter plan is free forever: 3 published tests, 150 questions, 500 responses a month, 5 AI generations a month and 1 class of up to 40 students with a gradebook. Pro is $19 a month (or 25,000 IQD) for 20 classes and unlimited tests.

Do my students need an account or an app?

No. Students open your link on a phone or computer, type their name and email, and start. Live quizzes work the same way with a 6-digit code at examopotamia.com/live.

Can students copy from each other or look up the answers?

Each student can get a different random set from a larger question pool, in a shuffled order, with a timer for the whole test or for each question. The right answers never reach the browser, the test can run full screen, and leaving the screen is recorded so you can review it.

Can I use my existing questions?

Yes. Paste them, import a Word (.docx), Excel or CSV file, or turn your own PDF, Word, slides or a YouTube video into a quiz with AI. You check and edit every question before you publish.

Does it work in Arabic and Kurdish?

Yes. Students can take tests in English, Arabic, Kurdish (Sorani), German, French or Spanish, with right-to-left layout for Arabic and Kurdish. You can write your questions in any language.

Can I mark essays and written answers?

Yes. Add a marking guide only you can see; the AI suggests a mark and a comment for each answer, and you check, change and save. Everything else is marked the moment the student submits.
