How a live quiz works

1. Open any test in the Studio and click Host live. Choose how many seconds each question gets.
2. Show the screen. Players go to examopotamia.com/live on their phones and type the 6-digit code. No app and no account.
3. Start the quiz. Everyone answers the same question at the same time; the screen shows how many have answered.
4. See the right answer and how the room voted, then the leaderboard, then the next question. A podium crowns the winners.

Fair and easy to run

• Speed points: up to 1,000 for an instant right answer, plus a bonus for a streak.
• Remove a player with an unsuitable nickname, lock the room once everyone is in, or end early.
• Info slides between questions for a quick explanation, with images and video on the big screen.
• Download the final results as a spreadsheet.

A live quiz uses the questions of any test you made, so the same questions work as a timed online test, a homework quiz or a live game. Start from the free templates or let the AI question generator draft them.

Do players need an app or account?

No. They open examopotamia.com/live in any phone browser and enter the code and a nickname.

How many players can join?

Up to 25 on the free plan, 200 on Pro and 1,000 on Business.

Can I stop someone joining with a rude name?

Yes. Remove them from the players list on the host screen; that name can’t rejoin. You can also lock the room once everyone is in.
