Skills tests for hiring teams

Hire on skills with AI tests

Describe the role and AI writes the test. Every applicant gets their own timed set of questions on a locked screen, and you see who is best before you interview.

How hiring works

A fair test for every applicant, in five minutes

Describe the role, let AI draft 50 questions in the skill areas you need, and send one link. Each applicant gets their own set, and you get a ranked list.

  1. 1

    AI writes the questions

Up to 50 at once, split over skill areas like logic, numeracy and judgment, in English, Arabic or Kurdish. Or import your own from Word or Excel.

  2. 2

    Set the rules

10 random questions per applicant, 30 seconds each, full screen, one attempt per email, per position and per internet connection.

  3. 3

    Hire the best

Results rank themselves. Each attempt has a reference that carries into your application form, and an integrity record.

A different set for every applicant

Keep 50 questions in the pool and give each person 10 at random, evenly or with an exact number from each skill area. Answers passed around a group chat stop being useful.

Seconds per question

Each question gets its own countdown, the next one opens when time runs out, and nobody can go back to look things up.

A locked test screen

Full screen, no copying, a name watermark, and a record of every time someone leaves. Set how many exits end the test.

An integrity record

A score from 0 to 100 and a timeline: when they left, on which question and for how long. A flag to review, never an automatic verdict.

Limits that are fair

Attempts per email, per position and per internet connection, with “Allow another attempt” for genuine cases.

Straight into your hiring

Passers go on to your application form with their reference filled in, or apply through your own Examopotamia job page.

Recruiting, built in

From job post to hire, with the test already done

Post a job, collect applications with your own form, and send every applicant straight into your assessment. Their score lands on their application, so you only interview the best.

A pipeline that sorts itself

Incoming, Good matches, Shortlisted, Accepted, Rejected and a company-wide Blacklist. Good matches are applicants who passed your score bar with a clean integrity record.

Form builder

Ask exactly what you need: text, dropdowns, links, dates and more. Drag to reorder.

Candidate portal

Applicants sign in with Google or Microsoft to see their applications and test results, as much as you choose to share.

Google for Jobs

Open jobs are published with structured data so they can appear in Google job search.

API & webhooks

Use our dashboard, your own website, or both. A versioned REST API and signed webhooks connect to your HR system. Docs

FAQ

Questions, answered

Is Examopotamia free?

Yes. The Starter plan is free forever and includes 3 live assessments, 150 questions, 500 responses a month and 5 AI generations a month.

Do test takers need an account?

No. Test takers open your link, enter their name and email, and start. Only you need an account.

Can people see the answers in the browser?

No. Answers never leave the server. Every test is scored on the server, and the time limit is enforced there too.

What question types are supported?

Single choice, multiple choice, picture choices, true/false, short answer, fill in the blanks, matching, essays and file uploads. You mark essays and files yourself, with AI-suggested marks if you like. Every question can carry points, tags, difficulty and an explanation. Tests can also draw a random set of questions for each person, open and close at set times, and ask for an access code.

Can I import my existing questions?

Yes. Import from CSV or JSON, add a ready-made pack from the question library, or generate new questions with AI.

How do live quizzes work?

Open any test in the Studio and click Host live. Show the screen in class; players go to examopotamia.com/live on their phones and type the 6-digit code. No app or account needed. The free plan hosts up to 25 players, Pro 200 and Business 1,000.

Can I build a course with a certificate?

Yes. Add lessons with text, images, video and documents, put quizzes from your tests between them, and publish one link. Learners who finish every step get a certificate anyone can verify.

Can I add images, videos and documents?

Yes. Upload images, GIFs, MP4 videos, audio and PDF, Word, Excel or PowerPoint files, or paste a YouTube or Vimeo link. The free plan includes 200 MB of storage.
